A long-term program launched in 2010 by Wella and UNICEF in collaboration with hairstylists and clients around the world, the WELLA-UNICEF MAKING WAVES program offers the gift of education to vulnerable young people in emerging countries.

Brigitte is passionate about training young people in the salon where she works and was even awarded the prestigious Trainee-Oscr prize in 2008. Mother of two, she has always loved working with young people and particularly likes helping them discover their talent.
“In Germany, children grow up with all sorts of possibilities in terms of education and training. This program offers young people an opportunity that they may not have had otherwise - that's what I like about it.”
